GALLOWAY, N.J. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University men's lacrosse team fell to the Ospreys of Stockton University, 19-5. The Ospreys jumped to early 7-1 lead after the first quarter. Stockton outscored the Falcons by six in the second to take a 15-3 lead at the half. Both teams scored a goal in the third to put the score at 16-4 headed into the final quarter. The Ospreys outscored the Falcons 3-1 in the fourth to earn the 19-5 win.
Bobby Berg led the Falcons with four goals and an assist.
Ryan Kane added a goal.
Jourdain Algarin made 20 saves in the cage for the Falcons.

First Quarter
After five minutes of scoreless play, the Ospreys scored six-straight goals to take a 6-0 lead with 1:39 remaining in the first. The Falcons quickly responded with a goal from
Bobby Berg by
Jesse Lynch to cut the Ospreys lead to five with a minute remaining in the quarter. The Ospreys ended the first with a goal with 30 seconds remaining in the quarter to take a 7-1 lead.
Second Quarter
The Falcons opened the second with a man-up goal from
Bobby Berg from
Quinn Foster to reduce the Osprey's lead to five. The Ospreys then responded with two-straight goals to push their lead to 9-2 with 12 minutes remaining in the second. The Falcons responded with
Bobby Berg's third goal of the game from
Chris Esslinger to cut the Falcons deficit to six. The Ospreys scored the last six goals of the second to take a 15-3 lead at the half.
Third Quarter
The Falcons opened the scoring in the third with a
Bobby Berg goal with 11:34 remaining in the third to cut the Ospreys lead to 15-4. After five minutes of scoreless lacrosse, the Ospreys added a goal to put the Ospreys back up by 12. Neither team added a goal the rest of the third and the Ospreys led 16-4 headed into the fourth.
Fourth Quarter
The Osprey scored three goals in the fourth, with
Ryan Kane scoring the lone goal from
Bobby Berg in the fourth to put the final score at 19-5.
