READING, Pa. – The Messiah Men's Tennis opened MAC Commonwealth play today on the road at Alvernia University, winning 7-0 while only dropping seven total games all day, moving to 1-0 in MAC Commonwealth play.

Doubles
Elijah Noll and
Timothy Sheaffer started the day with a 6-0 win on court two, being quickly followed by another 6-0 win on court three from
Luke Risser and
Xane Whitesel to secure the doubles point.
Brady Hahn and
Lance Wilson finished out doubles play with a 6-2 win on court one.
Singles
Lance Wilson started singles with a dominant two-set win on court two (6-0, 6-0).
Elijah Noll then won in two sets on court three (6-1, 6-0), and
Timothy Sheaffer won on court four, also in two sets (6-0, 6-1).
Brady Hahn was next to finish, winning in two sets on court one (6-0, 6-2). Courts five and six then played one singular set to eight, with
Luke Risser winning 8-0 and
Xane Whitesel winning 8-1.
