LANCASTER, Pa. – On Friday afternoon, the Messiah University men's tennis team dropped a road match against the Diplomats of Franklin and Marshall, 7-0. The match started with the Diplomats earning a point, sweeping the doubles matches. The Diplomats then won every singles match to earn the 7-0 win.

Doubles
On the top two courts the teams of
Brady Hahn and
Lance Wilson and
Timothy Sheaffer and
Elijah Noll each fell 6-3 for the Diplomats to earn the doubles points.
Luke Risser and
Xane Whitesell played on court three but also fell to the Diplomats third doubles' team.
Singles
On court one,
Lance Wilson played two tight sets against the Diplomats' number one player, falling 6-4 in set one and 6-3 in set two. On court two,
Brady Hahn fell in straight sets, with a tight 6-4 finish in set one and a 6-2 finish in set two. The Diplomats then won the final four matches, with
Elijah Noll,
Timothy Sheaffer,
Luke Risser, and
Micah Batson all competing for the Falcons.
