Kaitlyn Russell and
Emily Wichert defeated their opponents by a score of 8-4.
Amanda Adams and
Gabby Brooks also picked up a win on the day, winning decisively 8-3.
Kelly Hopkins dropped a close contest with doubles partner
Carly Dove 8-6, but both bounced back in singles picking up victories in straight sets; Hopkins (7-5, 6-2), and Dove (6-2, 6-3).
In singles,
Kaitlyn Russell (6-4, 6-3) and
Emily Wichert (6-1, 6-1) also picked up wins.
The Falcons will look to build off today's performance at the MAC Individual Championships Oct. 21-22.
