Grantham, PA - The Messiah College men's tennis team improved to 3-5 on the season after defeating Albright College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons started the day off with the doubles matches.
Tim Dunn and
Connor Graybeal competed against a very good Albright team and defeated them 8-4. This match consisted of a lot of back-and-forth action and aggressive play at the net.
Devin Esch and
Austin Warren dominated their opponents 8-0 and worked very well together.
Alex Mantsevich and
Blake Ross picked up a win by default.
In singles action, Messiah proved to be very dominant and won all six matches.
Tim Dunn (6-2, 6-1),
Connor Graybeal (6-2, 6-1),
Devin Esch (6-2,6-0),
Austin Warren (6-0, 6-0), and
Alex Mantsevich (6-0, 6-1) all competed in singles actions and came out victorious.
Blake Ross won his match by default.
Messiah is back in action on April 4 when they travel to Stevenson University. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
