Track and Field / Cross Country Earns 10 Academic All-District Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – On Wednesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) honored 10 Messiah student-athletes with the announcement of the Academic All-District teams for men's and women's track and field/cross country. With the 10 honors on Wednesday, Messiah finishes the 2022-23 academic year with 62 Academic All-District honors across the entire department.
 
Men's Track and Field / Cross Country
    Noah Calisti – Jr. – 4.00 GPA, Actuarial Science
    Logan Horst – Sr. – 4.00 GPA, Civil Engineering
    Andrew Hutchinson – Sr. – 3.96 GPA, Music Education (K-12)
    Hoyt Lechthaler – So. – 3.86 GPA, Applied Health Science
    Josiah Provan – Sr. – 3.99 GPA, Mathematics
 
Women's Track and Field / Cross Country
    Katie Anthony – Jr. – 3.65 GPA, Physics
    Kate Dickow – Sr. – 3.84 GPA, Studio Art
    Halle Jennett – So. – 3.82 GPA, Applied Health Science
    Claire Miller – Jr. – 3.93 GPA, Digital Media
    Ali Schutte – Sr. – 3.56 GPA, English with Teaching Cert.
 
About the CSC Academic All-District Program
The 2022-23 Academic All-District program, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field/court and in the classroom. All honorees must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be enrolled at the institution for at least one full calendar year. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.
