The Messiah Sports Medicine team welcomes you and your team! The athletic training room is available to visiting teams during hours of operation. On game days, the athletic training room is available two hours before competition. The athletic training facility is in the basement of the Eisenhower Campus Center, which is connected to the Sollenberger Sports Complex. For outdoor sports, it is recommended to stop by the athletic training room for tape and/or treatment before traveling across the covered bridge.
Falcon Hut is the locker-room provided for outdoor sports. If your team is traveling with an athletic trainer there is a treatment table in the Falcon Hut above the locker rooms. Messiah Game Management will make this available to traveling teams upon request.
For those team who will not be traveling with a certified/licensed athletic trainer, the Messiah Sports Medicine team is happy to tape your student-athletes, but please provide your own taping supplies. For penetrating modalities and electrical stim, please bring a note specifying treatment that is signed by a Certified Athletic Trainer.
For home competitions we provide:
- Certified Athletic Trainer at every NCAA contest hosted by Messiah University
- Ice and water
- Water bottles
- Emergency equipment, including AED, crutches, and splits
